Sesto's Lakefront
Where the lake turns to river
A few minutes' drive away, the centre of Sesto Calende looks out over the very point where Lake Maggiore narrows and begins to flow as the river Ticino. The lakefront is everyone's walk: still water on one side, a current on the other, and herons fishing along the banks.
It's the right place for the evening, gelato in hand, or for breakfast outdoors watching the boats.
