Getting Around

Out here in the countryside a car is the easy choice: distances are short but the landscape is spread out, and with a car you reach the lake, the towns, and the restaurants without a second thought. Parking with us is free, so you can leave it behind when you don't need it.

Sesto Calende has a train station that's handy for Milan, useful if you'd rather rest the car or come back the same day. For the airport, we're roughly fifteen minutes from Malpensa.

You can also tour the lake by ferry: the main docks are at Angera, at Laveno on the Lombard shore, and at Stresa on the Piedmont side — the loveliest way to reach the islands or switch shores without driving around.
